The Weather Defence™ external sheathing board is a cutting-edge product designed for use in steel or timber frame construction with rain-screen, insulated render, brick, or block facade systems. This board is faced with water-repellent material, providing superior weather protection and is highly moisture resistant. With a quick and easy installation process, Weather Defence™ offers a faster way to a weather-tight building, saving time and reducing installed cost. The board is dimensionally stable and ensures reliable airtightness, and can be left exposed for up to 12 months on-site before the final cladding is completed. With no need for cutting areas, power tools, or dust extractors, this product is also mould and water-resistant and eliminates the need for a breathable membrane. The Weather Defence™ external sheathing board is double BBA certified, fully A1 non-combustible, and compliant for structures above 18m.
