Valve Jackets

Valve Insulated Jackets are a type of insulation product that are fitted on and around pipes, valves, and other equipment in order to reduce heat loss or gain and also to prevent condensation from forming. Our valve insulation jackets are made of a dense layer of insulation material encased in a protective outer layer. The outer layer is made from one of several colors and material.

Insulated jackets are used to improve the energy efficiency of a building by reducing heat loss or gain through pipes, valves, and other equipment and to prevent freezing in cold weather. They can be used on a variety of different types of equipment and are often found in industrial and commercial buildings such as factories, power plants, and warehouses.

How do Insulated Valve Jackets Work?

Insulated valve jackets work by providing thermal insulation to valves in order to prevent heat loss or gain. The jackets are made of a thermally insulating material, such as fiberglass or foam, and are designed to fit snugly around the valve. By creating a barrier between the valve and the surrounding environment, the jacket helps to maintain a consistent temperature, which can improve the performance and efficiency of the valve and extend its lifespan. Additionally, the insulation helps to reduce noise and vibration, which can be caused by temperature changes in the valve. Insulated valve jackets can be used in a variety of applications, including industrial processes, HVAC systems, and refrigeration systems, to name a few.

What Kinds of Insulated Valve Jackets Are Available?

We manufacture insulated valve jackets for all kinds of valves, flanged or not and offer both Exterior Use and Interior Use valve jackets to cover all use-case scenarios. Both our external valve jackets and internal valve jackets come in multiple finish types for you to choose from including Silicone Grey, Silver Foil and Black.

Supported Valves

  • Ball valves: Ball valves are quarter-turn valves that use a ball with a hole in the centre to control the flow of fluid. They are simple and reliable, making them a popular choice for many applications.
  • Butterfly valves: Butterfly valves are quarter-turn valves that use a disc-shaped element to control the flow of fluid. They are often used in large-diameter piping systems because of their high flow capacity.
  • Check valves: Check valves are valves that allow fluid to flow in only one direction. They are used to prevent backflow and are commonly found in piping systems.
  • Globe valves: Globe valves are linear motion valves that use a movable disk to control the flow of fluid. They are often used in precise flow control applications.
  • Gate valves: Gate valves are linear motion valves that use a gate-shaped element to control the flow of fluid. They are often used in high-pressure or high-temperature applications.
  • Diaphragm valves: Diaphragm valves are valves that use a flexible diaphragm to control the flow of fluid. They are often used in abrasive or corrosive environments.
  • Plug valves: Plug valves are quarter-turn valves that use a tapered plug to control the flow of fluid. They are often used in high-pressure or high-temperature applications.
  • Flanged Valves: A flanged valve is a type of valve that has a flange (or flanges) on the body of the valve. The flanges are used to connect the valve to other equipment, such as pipes or other valves, using bolts or other fasteners. Flanged valves are commonly used in piping systems because they allow for easy installation and removal and provide a strong and secure connection. Flanged valves can be found in a variety of sizes and types, including gate valves, ball valves, and butterfly valves.
